Organize cultural event or festival celebrating heritages such as food fairs or music nights. 

Sponsor indoor entertainment for the elderly only in the high school auditorium.

Develop seminars for starting and maintaining small businesses.  The process and all the components that are necessary for success, such as funding, marketing, sales, operations, bookkeeping etc.

Create networking forums for all local businesses to share leads or communicate their service or product. Film and post on the city website for residents to observe as resources.

A potential idea for the Searles Estate just purchased by the city. A multi-functional community center creating spaces for recreational activities, educational programs, cultural events, meeting rooms for networking events for all age groups. Local gallery of historic components from Methuen's history. A theater for performing arts programs etc.

Develop or contract an organization for a youth center that no only has activities but additional programs for art, music and STEM programs. 

The center may also include a section for the elderly and promote wellness care and other topics that we encounter as we get older. Bring in financial analysts for example. Speakers in many different categories personally, socially and locally.
